We can see the light at the end of the tunnel...diaper wise I mean. Abigail wore panties all afternoon and she stayed DRY!!! It was a funny day and a cute sight to see her chubby little legs and beer belly wondering around the house...

The Louisville Slugger Museum

... okay, so blame it on mommy brain, blame it on just being plain dumb, blaime it on whatever you'd like...but I did not connect Louisville, KY with the "Louisville Slugger" so I was really excited to find out that we could go to the Louisville Sluggar Museum.

And away we went. The Slugger Museum is pretty cool. We got to see how bats are made. Abigail loved holding the bats...some she did not want to let go. She especially liked the Alex Rodriguez bat.

She also liked watching the different pitchers pitch. I think if nothing else she may have a career as a softball player...and we all know there are big bucks in that :)

Lions and Tigers and Bears...

Well the bears had already gone to bed for the night, but we did see the Lions and Tigers on our trip to the Louisville Zoo Sunday. As usual Abigail loved it. SHe enjoyed everything ...except the Gorillas. The Gorillas scared her.

...Checking out the Elephants. Liked the look...was not so sure of the smell.

Hanging with Auntie Cate and the Giraffes!! Aren't they TALL

The gorrilla room really scared Abigail. She was hiding behind my leg the entire time. But before those scary apes scared her, she was willing to pose in front of the sign.

And one last pic. Mommy and ABigail in front of the Lions. Mommy is always taking pictures so we do not have enough together.

First Hair Cut

Abigail had her first hair cut Friday afternoon at Fantastic Sam's in Clarksville, Indiana. She was such a big girl about it (the PEZ helped). She was so proud to be sitting in the chair as a big girl. Since apicture is worth a thousand words here are a few.

The Before Picture

Abigail loved the doggie smock.

Sitting nicely while Jessie cuts her hair.

Getting a 16 month old to cooperate is a hard thing to do.

Busy Weekend

Abigail and I are still in Kentucky. We were coloring today and Abigail said " I want red" and Grabbed the red crayon. I knew she new the color red, so I was not surprised. But she then went on to ask for the blue, green and orange colors.

So cool...We are having fun here. We went to the Zoo today and to the Lousiville Sluggar Museum yesterday. Abigail LOVED the batts.

Plus on Friday she got a haircut so it has been a busy weekend.

Will share some picture, tonight or tomorrow. Again no digital so I am busy waiting for my FILM to be developed.

A day at the park

Another beautiful day in Wilmington. You can not beat 70 degrees in the beggining of February!

Yesterday Abigail went to the park with a friend who is 2 yrs older. While S was able to swing on the swing without a problem. Abigail just watched. Today we went back and she swang (swung?) like a champion!

Here is video of her swinging

and here is her going up and down the slide (and scaring mama to death!!)
