Ballet Cat- A story by Abigail

Abigail "wrote" (she typed, I spelled) this story tonight. Lately she has really bee into telling, creating and acting out stories. Goldillocks has been a big one lastely in our house. I thought it was pretty cute so I decided to post it.

Ballet Cat

Once upon a cat. The cat had sharp ears. She spooks with her pointy ears. She snuck by again. Then she snuck by again. Then she used the mouse for scratching her very sharp nails.

The End.

Since she has really been into writing/typing more stories lately I have decided to keep track of them through her own blog. Puddle Jumping

It has been raining for years....well maybe it just feels that way. But after a few days of being stuck in the house we needed to get out...even in the rain!!

More Soccer

Soccer and Ballet are the big things right now at our house. So I was very excited when my friend Barbara,who is an awesome photographer, was willing to risk getting eaten alive by mosquitos to try and get some cute pictures of Abigail on the soccer field. As usual she did an awesome job, even with my extremely uncooperative child.







I keep forgetting my camera for ballet class but I will try and get some next week!

Soccer Practice

Here are pictures from Abigail's first "uniformed" soccer practice. She always has a good time...and they look sooo cute doing it. Ab seems to really love it!

Boogey Boarding!

We went to the beach today and Ab learned to boogey board! She had such a great time and is a natural in the water. This video is from her first ride, but by the end of the day she was starting about 30 feet out. Of course I was standing behind her the entire time.

A lazy labor day

Labor Day weekend has brought nothing but rain here. Yesterday we attempted the beach but between the wind, the rough surf and tourists it was just too much. So today we decided to have a "lazy" day at home. Abigail woke up begging to make playdough.

Abigail's latest piece of artwork: A drawing of her family. Although I did add in Grandma (per Abigails request). Grandma is the person wearing clothes :)
